Cover Reveal: Rapture by Lauren Kate

So this is Rapture, the final novel in the Fallen Series by Lauren Kate. If you remember, I had a post back in January about Passion, the third book, and it's cover. There, I mentioned that I really didn't like the cover because it was just so bright compared to the others. But this got right back on track. I love the darkness that reflects Fallen and Torment. Such a great finish for this series!

Cover Reveal: Endlessly by Kiersten White

Thursday on her blog, Kiersten White (the hilarious author of Paranormalcy and Supernaturally) revealed the cover of the third and final book in the Paranormalcy Trilogy. Here it is:

How gorgeously gorgeous is this? Gosh, I'd buy these books just for the covers! They're so darn pretty! But you shouldn't just buy them for the covers. They're amazing and funny, so go and get them!

Cover Reveal: Underworld by Meg Cabot

Meg Cabot, the author of Abandon, revealed the cover of the sequel as a treat to her fans last night:

I haven't read this book yet but everyone (literally, like every reading fanatic I know) is telling me to read it! I'll get right on it, you guys!

I love these covers. They really grab your attention, and I know that Meg is a great author since I've read previous books of hers. Can't wait to read these as well!

Cover Reveals: As Dead As It Gets and Timepiece

I love this cover. Soooo creepy! I have yet to read Bad Girls Don't Die, but it sounds awesome.

And there's also the ARC cover of Timepiece by Myra McEntire. I loved Hourglass, the prequel, and I can't wait to read the next installment. Look at the pretty cover!

Cover Reveal: Spell Bound by Rachel Hawkins

Two days ago on her blog, Rachel Hawkins, the author of Hex Hall and Demonglass, revealed the cover of the thrid book in the series, Spell Bound:

Having not read Hex Hall (but looking forward to it) I can't sing any praises to the books, but I've heard such great things about the series. I do love the cover and how close it is the previous ones, though.

The reflections and the cats are so cool. I can't wait to read this series!

Cover Reveals: Hallowed by Cynthia Hand and Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

Two days ago, I saw the cover of Cynthia Hand's second book, Hallowed, on the blog The Book Bubble. Many thanks to Athena!

I love how it looks really close to the first book, Unearthly. I loved the lettering and the girl on the cover of that book and I love the same with this one. It's so pretty! I hope its as shiny as the previous novel!

P.S. I have not read Unearthly, but its on my list.

On to the next book....

I loved Lauren Oliver's Before I Fall. Her writing was fantastic and her characters had depth. I bought Delirium, Lauren's next book, and I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yesterday on her blog, Lauren revealed the newest cover of the second book in the Delirium Trilogy, Pandemonium. Check it out:

You've all probably seen the original blue cover for Delirium, and are wondering what happened with the girl and the cut out letters and all of that. Earlier in the year, Lauren revealed the new cover to Delirium that looks like this:

Even though the original cover was spectacular, I think Delirium's new cover and Pandemonium's cover is beautiful. Can't wait to read more from Lauren!

I wasn't thoroughly impressed with The Body Finder, and I'm hoping for a better experience in Desires of the Dead. Cover Reveal: Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer

Hey! Yesterday on her blog, Andrea Cremer, the amazing author of the book Nightshade, revealed the cover to the third book in the Nightshade series, Bloodrose:

So, it's in the new covers, which I was kinda disappointed about. This goes back to the discussion I had in March about the covers. I was really looking forward to not only having the new cover, but also the original.

I like how they had pink elements to the cover. I think I expected it because of the the title. Blood and roses are both red, so I had this thought that they would be red. I like the blood dripping off the O, like the T in Nightshade and the F in Wolfsbane. Also, the wolf. You can't really have a werewolf novel without a wolf on the cover. Still, it's not really my favorite of the three. I hope that just to humor fans they'll make a cover like the originals.

Cover Reveal: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

I was just looking around and then I saw this, and then I freaked out! I've been waiting forever for this cover! But I was a little disappointed with it because the face is showing and they don't have the pretty clockwork angel under THE INFERNAL DEVICES. I double checked to make sure that this was the legit cover, and it was. Not saying its a terrible cover--I do like the darkness that all of Cassandra Clare's novels have. And guess who's on this cover?? JEM! Oh, I love the fictional-boys-that-I-can't-have!

Cover Reveal: Crossed by Ally Condie and Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins

Alright, so I loved, loved, loved Matched by Ally Condie (see my review here) and have been waiting for the sequel Crossed's cover reveal. AND IT'S FINALLY ARRIVED!!

Love it! I love the similarity between this cover and Matched. But I thought it would look something like this. Predictable in a way, but very nice. And here's what it's about:

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky--taken by the Society to his certain death--only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.

I've never actually read Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, but I've heard that it is just adorable and amazing and I really want to read it. Then, today, I saw the adorable cover of the companion novel, Lola and the Boy Next Door:

It looks so sweet, and I love how the model has purple hair. And it sounds so cute, too!

For budding costume designer Lola Nolan, the more outrageous the outfit--more sparkly, more fun, more wild--the better. But even though Lola's style is outrageous, she's a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins move back into the house next door.

When the family returns and Cricket--a gifted inventor and engineer--steps out from his twin sister's shadow and back into Lola's life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feeling for the boy next door

Cover Reveal: Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl are the authors of the Caster Chronicles, starting with Beautiful Creatures and continuing with Beautiful Darkness. Now, I've just received word that the third novel, Beautiful Chaos will be released October 18, 2011. And here is the cover:

I liked the other covers for their bright words. This looks beautiful still. I love the winding tendrils from the letters, but lighter colors would have brightened the mood of this cover. But it still looks amazing.

Cover Reveal: Lost in Time by Melissa De La Cruz

Personally, I thought the Blue Bloods series was going to end with Misguided Angel. But I was wrong. Lost in Time, the sixth Blue Bloods novel, will be released October 14, 2011. I haven't read The Van Alen Legacy or Misguided Angel yet, but I enjoyed the first three books and am hoping to continue on with the series.

As for the cover, judging by the bottom border, it has to do with Egypt! Unique. And the black feather is intriguing. I wonder what it's got to do with the book, if it has to do with the book at all. And there are two people on this cover. It definitely looks interesting.

Cover Reveal: Supernaturally by Kiersten White

OMG, if you haven't read Paranormalcy by Kiersten White (see my review here) you need to--NOW! It is amazing, hilarious, and wonderful all wrapped up in a beautiful package. And, OMG, today I was looking around and this showed up:

Isn't it beautiful? It's just like Paranormalcy's cover, although, I like this one better. I love the red flowers and Evie's beautiful, kind of whimsical look. Her dress is beautiful and the lettering just looks wonderful. It reminds me of a sunset on a mountain, or something. Just breathtaking. What do you think?

Cover Reveal: Once Every Never by Lesley Livingston

Remember awhile ago when I told you that Lesley Livingston was having a new book come out called Once Every Never? (See New and Noteworthy for Lesley Livingston) I forgot about the cover reveal! I was just looking around the blog-o-sphere (first time in weeks) and I found this! Isn't it beautiful? I love the way the girl's hair is swirling around her head and how she's transparent. Very pretty.

Here's what it's about:

Love Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices. Love IT!!
