These are some novels with amazing covers that I recently uncovered that I think sound good and that I can't wait to read. You can see them on my 2011 Releases page, also.
Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs
October 4th, 2011
New series, in which triplet descendants of Medusa learn they are destined to guard the door between the world of monsters and the world of men – pitched as a mythological Charmed.
~~
I am such a fan of Greek mythology and this sounds so cool! Descendants of Medusa? Such a unique and interesting idea! Can't wait to read.
Tris & Izzie by Mette Ivie Harrison
October 11th, 2011
A modern retelling of the German legend Tristan and Isolde, Tris and Izzie, is about a young witch named Izzie who is dating Mark King, the captain of the basketball team and thinks her life is going swimmingly well. Until she makes a love potion for her best friend Brangane and then ends up taking it herself accidentally, and falling in love with Tristan, the new guy at school.
~~
I just think it sounds like a sweet love story. Gotta love those.
The Pledge by Kimberly Derting
November 15, 2011
A romantic fantasy novel set in a dystopic, war-torn world, in which a teenage girl realizes that she may be the key to saving her country.
~~
This sounds dark but fun, in a way. A less gory Hunger Games, if you please.

News on Upcoming Books that Now Have Release Dates
Today I was looking through my 2011 Releases page, and noticed that some of the releases didn't have release dates. Not really helpful if you're looking for a book. So I scoured the authors websites, looking for their books dates, and found the two that were missing:
Abandon by Meg Cabot
April 26, 2011
She knows what it's like to die. Now Death wants her back.
Seventeen-year-old Pierce knows what happens to us when we die.
That's how she met John Hayden, the mysterious stranger who's made returning to normal life—or at least life as Pierce knew it before the accident—next to impossible.
Though she thought she escaped him—starting a new school in a whole new place—it turns out she was wrong. He finds her.
What does John want from her? Pierce thinks she knows... just like she knows he's no guardian angel, and his dark world isn't exactly heaven. But she can't stay away from him, either, especially since he's always there when she least expects it, but exactly when she needs him most.
But if she lets herself fall any further, she might find herself back in the place she fears the most.
And when Pierce discovers the shocking truth, that’s exactly where John sweeps her:
The Underworld.
Blood Ties (Blood Coven #6) by Mari Mancusi
August 2, 2011
The final battle is brewing between Vampires and Slayers. But for Sunny McDonald, the true war is being fought over her heart.
Though now officially back in the arms of her vampire boyfriend Magnus, Sunny finds she still can't forget the gentle mortal Jayden who once saved her life. And when the darkness threatens to steal his humanity, Sunny finds herself with a choice. Stay true to Magnus and the Blood Coven or defy them in a desperate attempt to save Jayden's soul.
Meanwhile, the Blood Coven is gearing up for its toughest fight yet—going head to head with a splinter group of Slayer Inc who's regrouping in Tokyo, Japan, still determined to take over the world. In dark blood bars and hidden temples, it'll be Vampires vs. Slayers in a showdown that could cost Sunny not only her heart...but also her very life.
